The MaretHouse Youth Fitness Camp is a program specifically designed to help improve your child’s health, body composition, and self confidence in a fun and exciting environment. This program incorporates dynamic body weight motions, light plyometrics, multi-directional agility drills, and a nutrition educational component to help your child understand the importance of healthy eating. Together we can help your child stay healthy and fit with the exciting, innovative, fun and educational program. 

Pricing: All packages are monthly (4 weeks) either 2 or up to 5 days per week. Pricing options are as follows.

· Basic Access 2x/week (T&TH or M&W) 1 hr classes = $140.00/mo

· Unlimited Access (M-F) 1 hr classes = $240.00/mo

Ages:

· 7-11

Camp times options:

· 10-11 AM

· 11-12 PM

· 3-4 PM

Camp Summer Dates:

· 1st Session held June 21st – July 15th

· 2nd Session held July 18th – Aug 12th 



WHAT IS MAD?


M.A.D. is the premiere MaretHouse Fitness Athletic Development program created to help any and all middle school, high school, and collegiate athletes in the Brazos Valley area improve their athleticism. The M.A.D. program focuses specifically on the elements of acceleration, maximum velocity, mulit-directional-agility, power, stamina, and injury avoidance.

The M.A.D. program is directed by NCAA Track and Field All-American and Marethouse Certified Personal Trainer Mike Bina. Coach Bina, has extensive training in the areas provided by the M.A.D. program and has a staff of 11 skilled certified personal trainers to maximize development of the talent the Brazos Valley has to offer.  M.A.D. is located within the Aggieland Fitness Dome and will be utilizing a brand new 11,000 sq/ft addition to the facility using state-of-the-art equipment and cutting edge programming.
 
WHAT IS INVOLVED IN A CLASS 

All classes start with a comprehensive warm-up, followed by 30 minutes of movement specific training and 30 minutes of resistance training ending with a cool down / stretching component.

Every training day will be geared for specific movements in either acceleration, maximum velocity, or mulit-directional agility
.  

MOVEMENT INFORMATION


Acceleration – Proper body position, proper leg and arm action, how and where to contact the ground and how to apply all of the motions at once to increase the athlete’s ability to accelerate faster and more powerful.

Maximum Velocity – sprint mechanics. The athlete will learn the proper body position from head to toe.  They will learn how to run in all three leg phases, the recovery, drive and ground contact phase. Through proper mechanics and power output, each athlete will see themselves running faster and more powerful than before.  

Multi-Directional Agility – with the use of various tools, including cones, bungies, harnesses, speed ladders, mini hurdles and more, the athletes will gain the necessary skills for quickness, power, strength and the ability to change direction faster than his/her opponents.

· Unlimited Access (M-F) 1.5 hr classes = $320.00/mo

Ages:

· Developmental 1 = 12 - 14 yrs old

· Developmental 2 = 15 - 18 yrs old

Program times options:

· Developmental 1 = 8:30 - 10:00 AM

· Developmental 2 = 1:00 - 2:30 PM

Program Summer Dates:

· 1st Session held June 21st – July 15th

· 2nd Session held July 18th – Aug 12th
